INTOSAI/EUROSAI
In the field of international cooperation, the Audit Office for Institutions in Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina cooperates with various organizations (at the request of international institutions, initiatives or needs of representatives of the international community). This cooperation is previously assessed in relation to the competence of the Office, or is carried out according to the decisions (consensus) of the Coordination Board of Supreme Audit Institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The members of the Committee, among other things, determine the joint strategy of the supreme audit institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina in relation to international cooperation and determine the representation in international bodies.

Through the Coordination Board of Supreme Audit Institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Audit Office cooperates with the following organizations:

  • INTOSAI – International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions, autonomous, independent and non-political; acts as the umbrella organization for the community of state auditors, and develops the INTOSAI Framework of Professional pronouncements applied by supreme audit institutions worldwide. These standards are also applied by the Audit Office, in accordance with the law. INTOSAI is a non-governmental organization with a special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
